I’m going to diverge a bit from politics today, partly because it’s Christmas, and partly because I want to rant about this waste of space.
It’s the news I really didn’t want to hear. Michael Schumacher, Formula One’s most successful driver is returning to the grid next year with Mercedes – three years after retiring.
Okay, so he’s won more than anyone else… but people are forgetting what a bad sportsman he was.
To win the title in 1994:

Yes, he is a good driver, but he lost my respect with his behaviour. I hope he is humiliated by Virgin Racing, Campos Meta, USF1 and Lotus next year. He needs some humility!
